Changing Notification Sound

How the default notification sound can be changed differs per platform:

Android

On Android, notifications can be configured at the Android system level. Inside the app when editting an alert, you can tap on "Notification settings" and the Android notification settings for Drakdoo will appear.

An alert can be assigned to one of three notification categories: Primary, Secondary and Alternate. This way, you can assign a different sound and/or priority to Bitcoin (BTC) alerts versus other markets you follow.

Per category, you are able to fully customize the bullish notification separately from the bearish notification.

If you cannot find the sound settings, please tap on one of the categories (e.g. tap on "Bearish Alerts (Primary)"). The Android user interface does not make it very obvious that you can tap those, and a lot of our users get confused by this. If you tap on it, all the configurable options will appear (sound, importance, vibration and so on).

iOS

The iOS programming interfaces are less powerful and do not allow for the same level of functionality as that of Android. You will not find the option to setup spoken alerts (text-to-speech), nor can you assign categories to alerts. However, you can setup a custom ring tone inside the app.
